7 Months

Our little Charlotte Rae is 7 months old today! She has grown so much in the last month and has learned so many things.

She's been practicing eating by herself.......VERY messy! 

We've also been working on using a sippy cup instead of the bottle!

She is such a silly girl!

She fell asleep on our walk with Nana and Mason.

She is SO close to crawling! She can get up, move backwards and starts to move forward, however, she forgets to move her hands and does a face plant!

We had some cooler weather after being in the 70s so Grandma LeClair put her in a coat and away they went on a walk! She'll grow into the coat sooner than later.

After their long walk she passed right out!

Isaac Alan Gast's Baptism

This past weekend we attended Isaac's baptism. I'm so very excited that Colleen and I have children so close in age. They will not only be cousins, but great friends I'm sure. We are so honored to share the responsibility of being Isaac's Godparents!! It was a great weekend full of family and celebration.

Since the baptism was in Appleton, we stayed at my Dad's in Waupaca. Yesterday was opening trout fishing, so the guys hit the river to fish! Aunt Ricki came to visit Charlotte too!! She adores her Aunt Ricki and loves the time she gets to spend with her.

6 Month Photo Session

6 Month Check up

 

Charlotte had her 6 month check up and shots today. She is doing great!! Such a healthy baby girl and growing up too fast for me. She is still in the 90th percentile for her height and her head circumference and 75th percentile for her weight. She is 17 pounds and 8 ounces, 27 inches long and her head circumference is 17.5 inches. She is 100% beautiful! Once again her shots were more painful for me than her. She let one tear drop after the first shot and by the third and final shot she was all smiles and giggles while I was still stressed!! She did such a wonderful job that the nurse gave her 5 Clifford stickers! She is getting more and more interested in foods too. She eats a fruit and cereal serving every morning and has veggies or meat/veggie combo for dinner. Her favorite is still bananas in the morning and she gobbles up anything mixed with sweet potatoes. Pretty soon we'll be incorporating lunch! This morning she got up on all fours and was so close to crawling!! It won't be long now, only a couple weeks. She refuses to sit still. She has to be on her feet and dancing at all times!! Next week we start water baby classes with her good friend Brody from daycare. The two of them will have such a great time!!

Our little girl is growing up so fast. I can't believe she is already 6 months old! She has her two bottom teeth in and the two top teeth just breaking through. Even teething she is smiles all the time! She is just on the verge of crawling...she can get her knees under her and lift her chest, but she can't hold it for long. Her legs are so strong, she stands with minimum assistance. When she's in her bouncer or jumper she stands all by herself and so tall! She likes to walk and hop too. If you hold her hands she walks all over the place and occasionally throws a few hops in there!! She says hi when she sees anybody and when you say "bye bye" she waves her hand. It is the most adorable thing I've ever seen!

Charlotte had a wonderful Easter. She got a couple new toys, a book and had fun playing at Grandma & Grandpa's house. We got to visit with Isaac and all her aunt and uncles! She wore her little dress from Grandma Grandt......at least for a little while, then it was pj's and playtime!
