9 Months Old

9 months and getting bigger and stronger every day!! In the last month she has grown up so much. It amazes me how much she isn't my little baby anymore, it's all going so fast. She started table foods, her favorites are peas, bananas and blueberries. She is climbing on everything, into every cupboard, and walking up and down the halls at high speed while holding on to her musical walker.

Her first word: "Dog"
She says Dada a lot and Mama when she's whining and tired.

She got so excited when the music played she started dancing and forgot to walk!!

Eating cheerios and bananas at Daycare

She LOVES puffs and cheetos!

And she can never get enough peas!!

Yum!! Lots of treats at daycare.

She got her first cold this past month and i stayed home with her for the day. It was a lot of snuggling and watching Disney Movies.

Even in sickness, she has a smile.

Playing with Granny & Gramps!

Passed out in her new big girl car seat!

We had the first crayfish boil of the summer!!

And she liked it!!

Bath time, always fun!!

Taking a nap with Grandpa LeClair

Helping Mommy and Daddy unpack from a week at the cabin.

We went over to my cousins' house for a fun day in the pool!

Such a cutie!!

4th of July!!

Every year for the 4th we go to the cabin on Post Lake in Elcho. It's hard to believe that this time last year I was 7 months pregnant and overjoyed about the soon birth of our baby girl and here we are now, spending the 4th with our amazing daughter!! We had so much fun and it was great to see all the family. We haven't seen a lot of them since Christmas time. Charlotte especially loved swimming and going for boat rides. It was hotter than ever this week too. Almost every day was between 95 and 100!!
Our first night at the cabin and a beautiful sunset.

Charlotte and Nana

In her cute patriotic outfit from Aunt Geri.

Little thing wouldn't sit still for a picture!

Having fun in the boat parade with her cousin Sienna!!

She loved being on the boat. She liked watching the waves and she kept screaming to match the sound of the motor. Definitely a girl born to be in and on the water.

My beautiful cupcakes that melted in the 45 minute drive to the cabin.

Such a ham when the camera is on! She loves to pose with a big smile!

Aunt Jessica came for a visit and took all the kids to the ice cream shop. Charlotte fully enjoyed her baby cone with blue moon ice cream!

Charlotte finally slept in the pack and play every night we were at the cabin and slept through the night!!

She had such a great time splashing in the water with all her cousins. They would all swim around her and she loved being included with the bigger kids. She spent most of the days kicking and splashing in the lake.

Finally getting out of the water and drying off.

Angie and Drew having some goldfish! Hard to believe Drew is already going to be 3! Seems like just yesterday she was pregnant and Matt and I were dreaming of becoming pregnant!

This was the 2nd annual wine tasting competition. These are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and worst wine winners!

Papa & Nana with all their grandkids. Ava, Charlotte, Sienna and Mason.

Another beautiful night.

Wednesday, the 4th, Papa shot off fireworks. Charlotte started out up front with giant headphones to block the sound out with. After two went off, she decided she hated the headphones and refused to put them on so we moved back on the porch of the cabin. That was much better, it wasn't as loud and she could still see them. She startled a little when they shot off but once there was color she just stared with a big grin on her face and would clap and clap. About half way through she kept rubbing her eyes and eventually fell asleep. I can't believe she slept through the last half!!

Unfortunately on Friday a big storm rolled in and the town fireworks were canceled. It was a major bummer. Although, before the rain came we had a chance to send off the chinese lanterns. They were beautiful! Lots of people around the lake were lighting them and it was quite a sight to see them all floating over the lake.

It was a great long holiday weekend and we look forward to next year's festivities!!
