10 Month Check up!

Having a bottle before the doctor comes in.

Charlotte had her 10 Month check up today!! She is a healthy and happy baby! This is the first time she was actually happy at the doctor's office! When we got there she kept walking around the halls barely holding on to Matt's hand and saying hi to all the staff. She's such a social butterfly. She only cried once when she had to lay down and be measured. She HATES laying down, even for diaper changes. Now that she's on the move, she never wants to lay down until sleep time.
She is getting so big! She is 20 pounds and 6 ounces, which is the 75th percentile and 30 inches tall which puts her in the 90th percentile again. Her head circumference is 18 inches and again puts her in the 90th percentile.

After the doctor visit. She's not always smiles but she did great!!

10 Months Old

Charlotte Rae is 10 months old going on 2 years!! She has such a personality. She knows exactly what she wants, how she wants it and when she wants it.

She lights up as soon as I pick up the camera. She loves posing for pictures!

Barking orders at Daddy and Papa while they build her a new sandbox!

The amazing sandbox Papa built her. Such a lucky little girl!!

She even has her swing on it. She always falls asleep in it, especially when in the swing at Grandma & Grandpa LeClair's house!

Chilling with her best friend, Drake. They are like 2 peas in a pod!

She loves to be up close when watching her movies. She always dances to the music and yells at her favorite characters. Right now her favorite movies are Rio, Shark's Tale and Tangled.

She really likes the tv show "So You Think You Can Dance". She dances along with the contestants. When the girls kick their legs up, so does she and she shakes her hips too!! It's so adorable to watch. She'll turn the radio off and on all day long and dance to the music. For a 10 month old, she has pretty good rhythm!

Comforting her buddy.

Playing with the coasters at Grandma & Grandpa Grandt's house!

Getting ready for her modeling career.

Grandpa Grandt and her were playing with the dog toys. He would tickle her and she would just giggle and giggle. It's so hard not to laugh when she gets going.

"I see you!!" She loves that game!

Helping Grandpa LeClair check his email. She might be a computer wiz like her Daddy!

She almost never eats pureed food anymore. She loves peas, ham and blueberries. Grandpa LeClair picks fresh blueberries and Charlotte just gobbles them up. She's now eating big girl foods at daycare too! She has mixed fruit, french toast and all sorts of goodies!! She is so close to walking too! She can stand without holding on to anything and can take two to three steps between the couch and chair. She gets more confident each day about walking. She's also taken to opening and shutting all doors and cabinets! She'll empty the entire pantry and stock it with her toys!! She's very smart too, she can work the remotes (she holds them up and points them towards the tv) and she is constantly calling Grandma & Grandpa LeClair on Matt's phone ( it's on speed dial). She never wants to get out of the bath tub. She throws an absolute fit!! We'll have to get her signed up for the Fall Swimming lessons at the Y. She says Dada, Mama, Dog and when you ask her what a doggy says, she'll reply "woof, woof"!! She's a quick learner and loves to talk and sing! One of her favorite things to do is play with her big blocks. We'll stack them up tall and she'll knock them down and laugh till she's blue in the face.

The last 10 months have been wonderful!! Can't wait to see where she goes from here!

Sugar Camp Softball Tournament

Aunt Ricki came to town for a surprise visit!!

She was all giggles!! She loves spending time and playing blocks with Aunt Ricki.

Daddy had a softball tournament in Sugar Camp this past weekend and we went to watch! Aunt Ricki took her on the slide at the playground!

They had fun reading and playing during Daddy's games!

Her Buddy Blake from Daycare was at the park too!! His Daddy was playing on another team too. They played on the playground together. Mostly the swings and the slides.
She had fun swinging however it was extremely windy which made it kind of chilly!

All that playing wore her out! She zonked out for quite a while in her stroller.

Daddy's team playing!!

After Daddy's game, the team came to chill out before their next game. Everyone on the team has little boys except one little girl. Charlotte had such a good time playing with all the kids! She was so good at sharing her toys with everyone too. I was a little worried about that.

Playing trucks with Noah and Colin. They just adored her!! She's such a little flirt.

That's right Charlotte, let them chase you! LOL

She loved walking around the pole for the canopy! Just as long as it doesn't turn into a career choice!!

We had such a great time watching Matt play softball. Unfortunately his team came in 3rd but they did a fantastic job. It was so windy out that when we got home on Sunday, Charlotte and I had pretty red faces!! Major wind burn. Can't wait for next summer to take Charlotte to the games!!

Oneida County Fair

The Oneida County Fair rolled into town last week. It's no where near the fair it was when I was a kid, however, it was fun to take Charlotte none the less. Next year I think we'll hit up the Wisconsin Valley Fair instead, much bigger and more for her to do. Plus she'll be walking for sure and enjoy it much more.

She got to see her Daycare Buddy Brody!! It's so cute how they instantly recognize eachother!!

What's a fair without greasy fair food!! These are called Bayou Fries! Delish.

She wasn't too sure about the Hodag.

All in all it was a nice evening at the fair. Saw some friends, had some food and Charlotte even played a game where you pick a ducky out of the water and win a prize depending on what's on the bottom. She had more fun playing in the water! She won a purple star wand.
