One Month Old

I can't believe how the time is flying by. Our baby girl is one month old today!! She is growing so fast and doing so much! Everyday is something new with her. I'm so thankful to have the time home to watch her learn new things. This past week has been a week of many firsts!!
Charlotte is doing really good at picking her head up!! If you're holding her, she lifts it for about 20 minutes and just smiles and looks around at everything. On the floor, she is really good at lifting and turning from side to side.
She's loves being read to. We started Twilight last week and are already on the second book! She sits there so quiet and focused, listening to your voice. The minute you stop reading she starts yelling! It's hilarious all the sounds she makes (videos to come soon!). She is just a jabber jaw.
Charlotte had her first playdate this week! Cole Goerg and his mom Tanya came to visit!! They both just watched eachother very carefully.....and Cole was so gentle shaking the rattle for her and making her smile.
Matt and I had our first night out....without Charlotte! We went to a friend's wedding while Grandma LeClair babysat. At first it was rough....I didn't want to leave her. The first couple hours I kept asking Matt if we she call and check on her but he told me to relax and that they have our number if they need us. After about 3 hours, I calmed down and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was some much needed adult time for us.
And the BIG news of the week:
SNOW!!

We had our first snow yesterday and Charlotte got her first taste! I thought she might fuss with the cold and wet but she loved it! She was eating the snowflakes up left and right!! She is sitting (assisted) so good now. She really enjoys being upright. She laughs at the dogs as they run around and roll in the snow . She's going to be our little snow bunny. Can't wait to get her a pair of ice skates when she's older for the lake! Her snow suit is a little big yet but that's just fine, there is plenty of winter in Wisconsin and she will grow into it, probably faster than one would think!
Play time!

Best Friends!

Couch potato.....

Smiles!
