6 Month pictures (part 2)

I have really been slacking on the blog updates so this post is WAY behind...however, in my defense, when you live in the northwoods, internet is slow and when I say slow, I mean Sssslllllllooooowwww!!
Here are some more of Little C's 6 month pictures from the photo shoot with Ruby Photography. Hopefully at her 9 month shoot we get some better ones of her and cousin Isaac. She kept smacking him in the face and on the head so the pictures were limited with the two of them! That's our girl, beating up the boys already!

Water Baby Classes

The last month Charlotte has been taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA. She is definitely a fish!! My little guppy. She loves swimming, she kicks and splashes. She is the only one in the class that hasn't cried once! She goes under water and likes to blow bubbles and will even sit on the edge of the pool and then dive in face first. She pops up with wide eyes and a smile. I can't wait to take her swimming this summer in the lake.
The best part about being in the classes is that it's extra time she gets to spend with her buddy Brody from Daycare!! They have so much fun together as do Brody's Mom Janelle and I do! I think it helps having them there together.

Maybe by next summer I can have her waterskiing!!Her last class was last night and she even received a certificate. Her instructor Karen told her to "keep kicking like a frog"!!

7 Months

Our little Charlotte Rae is 7 months old today! She has grown so much in the last month and has learned so many things.

She's been practicing eating by herself.......VERY messy! 

We've also been working on using a sippy cup instead of the bottle!

She is such a silly girl!

She fell asleep on our walk with Nana and Mason.

She is SO close to crawling! She can get up, move backwards and starts to move forward, however, she forgets to move her hands and does a face plant!

We had some cooler weather after being in the 70s so Grandma LeClair put her in a coat and away they went on a walk! She'll grow into the coat sooner than later.

After their long walk she passed right out!

Isaac Alan Gast's Baptism

This past weekend we attended Isaac's baptism. I'm so very excited that Colleen and I have children so close in age. They will not only be cousins, but great friends I'm sure. We are so honored to share the responsibility of being Isaac's Godparents!! It was a great weekend full of family and celebration.

Since the baptism was in Appleton, we stayed at my Dad's in Waupaca. Yesterday was opening trout fishing, so the guys hit the river to fish! Aunt Ricki came to visit Charlotte too!! She adores her Aunt Ricki and loves the time she gets to spend with her.
